Privacy policy
Duara Internet Solutions, trading as Duara Fiber, handles information about people who contact us, use our website or Duara Fiber app, or subscribe to our internet service. This page explains what we use that information for and how to request its deletion.
Request account and data deletion
Email us from the address linked to your Duara Fiber account, or tell us the phone number linked to it. Put “Delete my Duara Fiber account” in the subject. Do not send your password or one-time code. We will verify that the account is yours, explain any effect on an active internet service, and process the request.
Email sales@duarafiber.com to request deletionInformation we handle
To set up and provide service, we use your name, email address, phone number, service location, chosen plan and account identifiers. The app and customer portal also show account details, invoices, payment history and network or router information needed to manage and support your connection. If you contact support, we use the information you share with us to answer and resolve your request.
We process sign-in details and one-time codes to secure access to your account. Payments involve your payment phone number or a payment provider's checkout; we receive the payment status and transaction reference needed for billing. We may process technical information, such as IP addresses, connection diagnostics and app errors, to keep the service secure and working.
How we use and share it
We use this information to install and deliver your connection, manage your account, authenticate sign-ins, bill you, respond to support requests, send service updates and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with our installation and support teams, the FyberPay platform provider, hosting providers, and payment providers that help deliver these services, or when the law requires it.
Deletion and retention
After we verify and complete an account-deletion request, we remove or anonymize the closed subscriber's login, profile and service data that we no longer need. We retain only records needed for a lawful purpose, such as invoices, receipts and transaction records. Kenyan tax rules generally require relevant records to be kept for five years from the end of the reporting period. An open dispute, proceeding or other legal duty may require longer retention; we delete those records when that need ends.
Your other choices
You can ask us to access or correct your details, or to stop marketing messages, by emailingsales@duarafiber.comor calling 0713 086 086. We may ask you to verify your identity before changing or disclosing account information.
